Deep Red Orange Utah Alabaster on Black Marble Base. 7 1/2"x5"x5" This stone was given as a gift to me by a friend as a thank you. I also felt a lot of gratitude while carving and knew that that's what I would name it. I'm very fond of this color and really enjoyed carving this piece.

"The Blue Lantern"
I will show this work amongst others at a fundraiser benefiting the ARA Project, a non-profit organization that provides aid for impoverished children in Armenia. It is their first Charity Art Show and will take place on Saturday, November 29th ath the Villa del Sol d'Oro in Sierra Madre. Three will be live music, wine and hors d'oeuvres served at the show which will be held from 12-6. There is no admission charge other than a suggested donation of $20. Bring family and friends in town for Thanksgiving or just come alone and enjoy!

"Serpent"
I finished this piece just in time for a show at the Burbank Creative Arts Center Gallery. We (Victor Picou, sculptor and Bruce Burr, photographer) had our opening on August 1st. We had a great turnout and people loved how our pieces worked so well together.

"Bird and Tree"
I've been carving some smaller pieces. It's gratifying to complete a sculpture more quickly at times. This little bit of alabaster is about 5" tall. SOLD
